Following the antics of two brothers-in-law as they run the largest aquarium manufacturing company in the nation, Tanked dunks viewers into the high-decibel, family-owned business of Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (ATM).

Led by business partners, best friends and constant rivals Wayde King and Brett Raymer, this 37,000 square foot facility, located in Las Vegas, produces some of the most outrageous, larger-than-life and one-of-a-kind tanks for some of the most striking fish and clients around. No job is too big, too far, or too outlandish as Wayde and Brett travel the world to make fellow fish enthusiast's dreams of having their own little piece of the ocean a reality. You can stand right up against the Tanked Aquarium at watch more than 4, 000 tropical fish and three species of sting rays and sharks in the Tanked Aquarium. There are interactive feeding shows during the day.

We were inspired to set up a fish tank after watching the show. During our visit to Las Vegas we were so excited to see the Tanked Aquarium at the Silverton Casino.

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance. Tours often sell out so we suggest purchasing your tickets early to guarantee your desired tour day. You can buy your tickets either online or by phone with a Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Will we see people from the shows/celebrities on the tour?
Please note that the opportunity to meet and greet the shows' stars is NOT guaranteed. Inside tours depend upon filming schedule.
What if it rains?
The tours run rain or shine, so please dress according to the day’s forecast. Please keep in mind that most of the tour takes place on our vehicle so you will be out of the elements.
Is the tour suitable for children? Do they need tickets?
We do have special pricing for children between 4-12 years old. We do not recommend bringing any children under 4.

Following the familiar arc of reality home shows, the drama on “Tanked” is fueled by design complications and tight deadlines, and feels a bit whipped up for the cameras. But Mr. King and Mr. Raymer have been in business for 14 years, and they know their puffers from their angelfish. They make entertaining guides to the world of aquarium building, with its delicate balance of aquatic science, design and construction. Mr. King recently spoke with a reporter about the show. Is Las Vegas a good city to be in if you build aquariums?



We’re in the middle of the desert, so at first, no, it wasn’t. But a lot of the casinos wanted to do something more spectacular than the average aquarium. They would call us and say, “Can this be done?” We’ve done stuff for Caesars, Mirage, MGM. showing off a new fish tank that will be created on the Animal Plant Show “Tanked.”  This tank will be located at the new Port Bressi Ranch location and the TV show airs on June 10th on Animal Planet

When Animal Planet's third season of Tanked airs next spring, one location might look familiar. It's the rolling hills of east Pasco and Saint Leo University.

 But the plot centers not on the landscape but on the 2,100 gallon saltwater aquarium that has been built in a new residence hall known for now as Building No. 5. The circumstances surrounding how the private Catholic university scored a state-of-the-art aquarium and a spot on the reality show featuring the antics of the family business Acrylic Tank Manufacturers have been kept secret.

So has the price of the tank, which will feature lion fish in homage to the school mascot, the Lion.

All Star Wine & Spirits in Latham is getting tanked but not in the way you're probably thinking. The store is making its debut on Animal Planet’s TV show “Tanked." The show's hosts built customized extreme aquarium tanks that hold over 50,000 gallons. The pair travelled all the way to the Capital Region this week from LA to install a unique fish tank for All Star Wine & Spirits. The store celebrated the tank unveiling Friday with a “Wine Under the Sea” fish-themed wine tasting. The episode featuring All Star Wine & Spirits is expected to air this spring.

The stars of the show native Long Islanders and brothers-in-law Wayde King and Brett Raymer installed the aquarium at the hospital during three days last month.

Their Las Vegas-based Acrylic Tank Manufacturing has designed and built more than 10,000 aquariums during the past 16 years.

Through four seasons of the series, which they pitched to the cable network, King and Raymer have become known for one-of-a-kind custom creations that can carry six-figure price tags.
